Overview
Namati is a global network of grassroots legal advocates working with local communities to understand, use, and shape the law in order to gain access to basic services and rights. Since its founding in 2012, Namati has built a global movement of community paralegals to advance justice in multiple sectors. During its second phase from 2018 through 2022, Namati seeks systemic change in six countries while growing the Global Legal Empowerment Network into an influential global advocacy movement.

Since its founding in 2012, Namati has built a global movement of community paralegals to advance justice in multiple sectors. Namati has trained and deployed over 400 community paralegals who have taken up over 40,000 justice issues with local communities and contributed to case wins that have directly improved the lives of at least 1.3 million people.
