Overview
IDRS is a national Indian-governed nonprofit organization. Its leadership is critical in ensuring that tribal leaders can advocate effectively for themselves for good environmental stewardship of their lands. The objectives of IDRS' proposed program are to increase sound forest management and restoration on 400 million acres of western public lands and to support the creation of tribal sustainable forest-based businesses. We are tying off this grant because this grant's goals no longer overlap with the Foundation's western strategy.
