In Our Own Voice is a collective of nine organizations: New Voices for Reproductive Justice, Black Women for Wellness, Black Women’s Heath Imperative, New Voices for Reproductive Justice, SisterLove, SisterReach, SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW, Afiya Center, and Women With a Vision. The collective works to change the narrative of black women’s health and rights to build a stronger movement for reproductive justice by elevating the visibility of black women leaders at the national, regional, and state levels; advocating for a shared set of policy priorities; improving strategic communications capacity of members; and increasing financial resources for members to support their visibility.
