Overview
In Our Own Voice is a collective of eight Black women's organizations: Black Women for Wellness, Black Women’s Heath Imperative, New Voices for Reproductive Justice, SisterLove, SisterReach, SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW, Afiya Center, and Women With a Vision. The collective works to change the narrative of Black women’s health and rights to build a stronger movement for reproductive justice by (a) elevating the visibility of Black women leaders at the national, regional, and state levels; (b) advocating for a shared set of policy priorities; (c) improving the strategic communications capacity of members; and (d) increasing financial resources for members to support their visibility. (Strategy: U.S. Reproductive Equity)
