Demand Progress’ analysts provide context for congressional activities through their weekly newsletter, the First Branch Forecast; publish deep-dive analyses into aspects of congressional operations that are desperately in need of reform; place legislation in context by identifying related bills on their Bill Map website; publish thousands of Congressional Research Service reports used by hundreds of thousands of users monthly; and host events and training sessions that sharpen the expertise of congressional staff, civil society analysts, members of the press, and the general public.
