The Demand Progress Education Fund is a new 501(c)(3) public charity that provides one-of-a-kind research, analysis, and tools that deepen understanding of the U.S. Congress for all stakeholders in our democracy. Demand Progress’ analysts provide context for congressional activities through their weekly newsletter, the First Branch Forecast; publish deep-dive analyses into aspects of congressional operations that are desperately in need of reform; place legislation in context by identifying related bills on their Bill Map website; publish thousands of Congressional Research Service reports used by hundreds of thousands of users monthly; and host events and training sessions that sharpen the expertise of congressional staff, civil society analysts, members of the press, and the general public.
