Overview
This renewal grant would support the Coalition’s efforts to protect the state’s roadless areas and wild rivers and constrain the expansion of fossil-energy development on sensitive public lands. The Coalition seeks to protect 640,000 roadless acres, promote broader use of renewables in the state, and ensure that oil and gas development in Colorado does not impact sensitive habitat. To accomplish these goals, it would build a broad base of support among ranchers, hunters, anglers, and clean energy groups.
