Overview
Last year the Colorado Environmental Council and the Colorado Conservation Voters Education Fund merged to create Conservation Colorado. The Foundation provided an organizational effectiveness grant to the Colorado Environmental Council to facilitate the merger. This organizational effectiveness grant would support two needs that have resulted from the merger. First, the new board of Conservation Colorado is composed of members of the two previous boards and is in need of training on how to act as a single unified board. Second, the executive director of the new organization needs an executive coach to help him with staff and board transitions. This grant would provide funds for Conservation Colorado to hire two consultants; one for board training and the other for executive coaching.
