For A Project To Develop An Online Tool To Simulate Changes In Tax Policy In Mexico

Overview
The Centro de Investigación Económica y Presupuestaria would begin the third phase of its fiscal simulator, an interactive, public, Web-based tool that allows other policy advocacy organizations and individual citizens to evaluate different fiscal scenarios for Mexico. This grant would allow for (1) incorporating the behavior of economic agents on public finances, (2) developing a special module on public health systems, and (3) involving and training a larger number of users to increase the penetration and impact of the tool.

The Centro de Investigación Económica y Presupuestaria (CIEP) A.C. is a research and advocacy organization in Mexico that contributes evidence to the public debate on issues of economy and public finance.
