Overview
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) is a multi-disciplinary arts center whose performing arts programming serves 150,000 audience members each year. Presenting outstanding works of performing arts, as well as serving as a hub for creative incubation, the Center has become a pillar for artists from diverse artistic perspectives, genres, and communities. Located in the SoMa district of San Francisco, artists and audiences from the Bay Area and beyond benefit from YBCA’s focus on innovative commissions, community rentals, and community engagement initiatives. Continued support will enable the organization to increase cross-programmatic work, new program formats, and increase the number of artist residencies.

In a typical year, YBCA offers more than 120 performances, and draws audiences of more than 75,000 to its theaters and galleries.
