Overview
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) is a large, multidisciplinary arts center located in downtown San Francisco. It produces and presents performances, exhibitions, lectures, festivals, and screenings — reaching more than 76,000 people through the roughly 120 performances it offers each year. YBCA appeals to audiences from all over the region through its adventurous commissions; community rentals of presenting space; community engagement initiatives; and YBCA 100 list, which recognizes leading artists, leaders, and activists that are using creativity to enact change. Renewed program funding will support the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts’ Performances Program. Support for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts advances the Performing Arts Program’s Communities strategy.
