Grants to this Grantee
for accelerating carbon neutrality in China through demand-driven energy transition and Natured-Based Solutions
This grant will help World Wildlife Fund to support China’s sub-national and non-state actors to pursue early emissions peaking by 2030 and net zero by 2060. (Substrategy: China National Policy)
for We Are Still In: Stepping Up Climate Action in 2018
World Wildlife Fund helps coordinate We Are Still In, a movement that now includes over 2,600 cities, states, tribes, businesses, universities, faith groups, and cultural institutions located in all 50 states and representing $6.2 trillion in GDP. We Are Still In aims to reassure other countries that American climate action is alive and well and sub-national actors in the U.S. are working hard to deliver on our Paris climate commitment. With support from the Hewlett Foundation, We Are Still In will help mobilize U.S. sub-national actors to deliver proof of action at the Global Climate Action Summit taking place in California in September 2018, as well as at the U.N. conference of parties in Poland in November.
