Overview
This grant will support the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO) to help coordinate the Women’s Major Group (WMG), a large collaborative of women’s civil society organizations interested in influencing the post-2015 development agenda. The grant funds will enable WEDO to facilitate civil society groups’ participation in key international and regional processes through travel support for experts; to lead advocacy efforts of the WMG, including by drafting and disseminating position papers and hosting events; and to conduct strategic analyses and planning for the WMG.
