Women Deliver is organizing its sixth global conference in Kigali, Rwanda, from July 17-20, 2023. The Women Deliver 2023 Conference is a platform to foster solidarity for sustainable solutions on gender equality by championing the leadership of grassroots advocates, connecting advocates with decision makers, and sharing key advocacy strategies. This grant supports Women Deliver’s deep engagement with feminist movements and collectives in co-designing and planning the conference and regional gatherings and investments in language equity. for support of the Women Deliver 2016 Global Conference
This grant will support the Women Deliver Global Conference, which will be held in Copenhagen in May 2016. The Conference is anticipated to draw 6,000 participants from 150 countries, including decision makers, implementers, researchers, advocates, media, and the private sector. The focus of the Conference will be on how to implement the Sustainable Development Goals as they relate to women and girls, with a specific focus on maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and rights, and the connections with gender equality, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
