Grants to this Grantee
for a comparative analysis of the impact evaluations funded by the QEDC initiative
This grant to Wellesley College would support an analysis of six evaluations the Foundation has funded to assess the effect of approaches to improve student reading and math achievement. The research would compare the effectiveness of six interventions and review the evidence on what makes these interventions successful. Researchers would also calculate and compare costs of the interventions to draw conclusions about the cost-effectiveness of different approaches to raising student achievement in various contexts. The results of the research are expected to guide global and national policymakers and practitioners who may wish to expand an intervention in a particular setting or implement it in a new one.
