Overview
WELL is a Senegalese civil society organization of advocates and practitioners that have been working in the past 30-plus years to combat poverty in rural communities in Senegal through providing functional literacy, strengthening social and civic participation, as well as financial empowerment for women and girls. Through this grant, WELL will implement the Femmes Actives et Citoyenneté Engagée (FACE) project to strengthening the power, decision making, and agency of women and girls in partner villages to expand their impact in the inclusive development of their communities. (Strategy: Inclusive Governance).
