Overview
Wallowa Resources’ mission is to empower rural communities to create strong economies and healthy landscapes through land stewardship, education, and job creation. The Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition finds and promotes solutions through collaborative, place-based work that recognizes the inextricable link between the long-term health of the land and the well-being of rural communities. This grant supports the coalition’s work to advance understanding of prescribed fire policy opportunities and aggregate lessons learned from the field regarding deployment of wildfire resilience programs, in order to better serve communities and improve state and federal programs and funding delivery.
