The Center for Demography and Ecology (CDE) at the University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin) is one of the largest and most productive centers of social science research and training in population. Funds would support a study and evaluation of the socio/economic effects of family planning programs. (New, $30,000/1; 100% of project budget) This grant is aligned with Guideline 2 of the Population Program strategy to promote research related to family planning and the impacts it has on human capital formation.
