The mission of the College of Education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is to have diverse faculty, students, staff, and alumni promote community well-being and individual achievement through education, research, scholarship, creative activities, and clinical services. The College of Education promotes this mission through its work as a leading source of knowledge and innovative models in education that affect policy, practice, and research. The college is committed to the creation of an inclusive and equity-focused learning environment and carries this value through its school district partnerships. This grant will support the planning and development of a paraprofessional pathway project to increase the diversity of teachers in secondary licensure programs. (Substrategy: Educator Capacity)
