Overview
Driving OER Sustainability for Student Success (DOERS3), fiscally sponsored by the University of Maryland Global Campus Foundation, is a collaborative of 28 higher education organizations that lead large-scale, statewide/provincewide OER initiatives and are committed to supporting student success by promoting open education. Representing over 6.6 million students at more than 735 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada, DOERS3 leverages the collective strength of the collaborative to scale and shape OER innovation to improve access, affordability, and achievement for higher education students. With this grant, DOERS3 will inform and support implementation of equitable practices with OER; advance the institutionalization of open education in tenure and promotion; and coordinate the development of a research agenda to examine the efficacy of OER initiatives.
