For Continuation Of The Citizen-led Assessments Of Learning In Senegal

Overview
The Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar’s Jangandoo program supports a network of civil society organizations to implement a citizen-led, household-based assessment of children’s learning in Senegal. This grant will allow Jangandoo to continue and expand work at the sub-national level to enable local Ministry of Education officials, school communities, and civic groups and associations to use the assessment results to plan and implement pedagogical and social action interventions that will support improved learning for those children who are furthest behind. Jangandoo will also continue its national-level policy advocacy to ensure that the government continues to prioritize education system-level change to improve learning.
