United Philanthropy Forum

For General Operating Support

Overview
The Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers is unique in philanthropy; it brings together deep regional roots and also a broad national reach. It has been for many years a network of 33 regional associations of grantmakers (that together serve a network of over 5,500 participating organizations). Recently, the forum made the strategic decision to expand its "umbrella" to include and support other national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs, i.e., infrastructure organizations) in the network as well. They hope this will reduce duplication and increase collaboration in philanthropy’s infrastructure, and will greatly enhance how regional and national PSOs work together to support, inform, and advance the philanthropy sector.
