Overview
The mission of Translators Without Borders is to ensure that people affected by natural disasters, human rights abuses, disease outbreaks, or other emergencies have access to life-saving and educational information in their own languages. This grant will help strengthen its core operations and support systems for its network of volunteer translators. Translators Without Borders will also expand its work in raising awareness among donor agencies about the critical role that communications and the provision of information in local languages plays in effective humanitarian response and development.
