Overview
The Transgender Law Center (TLC) helps transgender and gender-nonconforming communities overcome significant challenges related to self-determination and bodily autonomy, barriers to appropriate health care access, gender-based violence and lack of safety in a variety of public settings and institutions, and poverty. TLC does this work through litigation, advocacy, and communications; training programs to develop movement leaders; and legal services to help transgender and gender-nonconforming people access services and fight discrimination.
