Overview
San Jose State University’s Lurie College of Education is committed to preparing teachers who enhance the quality of education for students in a culturally diverse and technologically complex world. The college’s teacher residency program partners with local school districts to build the capacity of their teacher workforce. The primary goal of the program is to create a pipeline of rigorously prepared, highly qualified, diverse teachers to meet the needs of diverse learners. This project will strengthen the teacher residency program, expand the partnership with high-needs school districts, and allow the college to evaluate the impact of the program.
