Over the next several years, ONE, a grassroots organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, will expand its policy and advocacy program promoting the transparent and accountable use of public resources in developing countries. With Hewlett Foundation support, ONE will be able to advance extractive industry transparency, budget transparency, aid transparency, and African civil society empowerment.

The ONE Campaign is an international advocacy organization that promotes transparent and accountable use of public resources in developing countries, with a focus on Africa. During this grant period, ONE will work to secure specific anticorruption commitments from African governments and support efforts by local partners to hold governments accountable for these commitments. ONE will also support international efforts to promote open public contracting and beneficial ownership transparency, and advocate for investments to collect, analyze, and disseminate data to track the Sustainable Development Goals.
