The Sunrise Movement Education Fund works to make climate change an urgent public priority across America and reduce the influence of fossil industries on the country’s public discourse. Sunrise will accomplish this by organizing a multiracial, cross-class base of young people; building a pipeline of leadership in the climate movement to keep the climate crisis an urgent public priority; and engaging that organized bloc of young people to implement the decarbonization policies already on the table, leading to concrete change for our communities.
