Overview
StreetNet International is a global network of street vendors and related informal economy workers, and currently has 54 affiliates in nearly 50 countries around the world representing approximately 620,000 individual members. This grant will include support for the organization in its efforts, including (a) mobilizing and supporting members to inform laws, policies, and guidelines in favor of street vendors and other informal workers at national and global levels; (b) building solidarity and alliances between StreetNet affiliates across borders, including through the organization of the 6th StreetNet International Congress in 2019; and (c) continuing to grow and develop StreetNet International to be sustainable.
