Overview
This grant to Speak Up Africa will support the Coordination Unit of the Ouagadougou Partnership in Senegal. The partnership is a collaboration among donors and the nine Francophone countries in West Africa to increase family planning use through convening, data sharing, civil society engagement, and global representation. Speak Up Africa is the new host of the Coordination Unit, after a successful transition from previous host IntraHealth International over the course of 2021. This grant is aligned with the Global Reproductive Equity strategy third outcome focused on mitigating inequity in access to and use of contraception and abortion care in East Africa and Francophone West Africa.
