Overview
Securing America's Future Energy Foundation (SAFE) is a non-partisan organization dedicated to reducing U.S. dependence on oil by educating policy makers and advocating for energy reform. First launched in 2005, SAFE is no longer a young organization, and now needs to achieve and sustain long-term growth and viability. We recommend an organizational effectiveness grant for SAFE to develop growth goals and short term strategic priorities that will help them achieve these goals.

Grants to this Grantee
for the DRC-Zambia Battery Council workshop series
Securing America’s Future Energy Foundation develops and advocates for policies that improve America’s energy security by curtailing dependence on oil and promoting use of domestic energy resources. This grant sponsors the foundation’s workshop series with the U.S.-Congolese-Zambian battery council. The workshop series will aim to attract diverse private sources of investment to the region, create actionable solutions to enforce more responsible mining practices, and support the development of bankable projects. (Substrategy: Electrification)
for Electrification Coalition strategic planning
The Electrification Coalition is part of Securing America's Future Energy's strategy to promote electrification of transportation policies and sound partnerships between public and private sector in the United States. With this Organizational Effectiveness grant, the organization will develop a 3-year new strategic plan with the goal of assessing their past successes and looking at the new opportunities for replication, scaling, and growth. This plan is very timely given the political environment at federal and state levels in the next five years.
for strategic planning
We recommend an Organizational Effectiveness grant to Securing America's Energy Future Foundation to create an action plan with clearly articulated key priorities and timing for 2016 objectives, and a path to measure their progress.
