Overview
SchoolHouse Connection is a national nonprofit organization working to overcome homelessness through education. Access to education, from early childhood through postsecondary, helps prepare students to end homelessness and achieve their dreams. Nationwide, there are more than 1.5 million public school students who were homeless at some point during the most recent school year, and due to the pandemic, the numbers continue to rise. This grant enables SchoolHouse to address the needs of homeless students in the public schools. (Strategy: K-12 Teaching and Learning)

for general operating support
SchoolHouse Connection is a national nonprofit organization working to overcome homelessness through education. Children and youth who experience homelessness are far less likely to complete high school than their peers. Access to stable and equitable high-quality education, from early childhood through postsecondary education, helps equip students to end the cycle and experiences of homelessness and achieve their dreams.
