With the largest budget of any West Coast opera company, San Francisco Opera presents an eight-production season for 150,000 audience members each year. The company also offers family-friendly programs, training and performance opportunities for emerging opera artists, and in-school education programs for more than 23,000 Bay Area public school students annually. An additional 17,000 people attend the Opera’s annual Opera in the Park event in Golden Gate Park.
