San Francisco Ballet Association

San Francisco Ballet Association is America’s oldest professional ballet company and one of the three largest, with seventy company dancers. The company presents more than 100 performances in the Bay Area, and maintains an impressive domestic and international touring schedule. It reaches more than 500,000 people each year through performances, tours, and education and outreach programs. The institution maintains a ballet school that provides pre-professional training for 400 highly qualified students from around the world. Renewed funding would support the organization’s goal to provide scholarship support for 50 percent of its students and continue to actively recruit a diverse student body.
