San Diego State requests support for its statewide network of community college faculty who teach remedial math-a course that has become the stumbling block to finishing community college for more than 40 percent of students. This network promotes the sharing, archiving, and adoption of effective catch-up teaching methods among 120 faculty and twenty institutions across California.
