Overview
Re:wild, in collaboration with its partners, will lead the development and implementation of a fund that provides upfront spending to support high-integrity processes for tropical forest emissions reduction programs and climate finance. The fund will provide targeted grants, technical support, capacity, and advice to governments and Indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs) in countries with jurisdictional projects. The fund will also convene stakeholders around the world to influence global thinking on carbon markets, and complement existing efforts to improve jurisdictional REDD+. Re:wild will strategically communicate results to drive the global dialogue on carbon markets. (Substrategy: Land Use)
