The foundation will create a web-based system to simplify the open textbook publishing process, work to ensure that open textbooks are published in these accessible, standard formats, and build a community of open textbook creators. Better long-term infrastructure for OER and support for developing, adopting, and using open textbooks will help make higher education resources more effective and available at a lower cost.
