Overview
Publish What You Pay is a global coalition of more than 700 civil society organizations advocating for greater transparency and accountability in the extractives sector. The coalition aims to ensure that payment and other disclosures made by extractive companies and governments through channels such as the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative lead to better and more accountable use of natural resource wealth. The coalition works to consolidate global disclosure norms and advocate for greater compliance at the country level, develop members’ capacity to use data in advocacy campaigns, and foster citizen participation in decisions about the allocation and use of extractive revenues.
