for development of an integrated infrastructure to encourage and evaluate deeper learning
Peer 2 Peer University is an international initiative that builds on existing stores of OER by providing a free, online platform for peer-based learning (p2pu.org). With this tie-off grant, the university would run a series of MOOCs that experiment with, and evaluate the efficacy of, new OER course designs that support deeper learning.
for development of an integrated infrastructure to encourage and evaluate deeper learning
Peer 2 Peer University is a fast-growing, international initiative that builds on existing stores of OER by providing a free, online social platform for peer-based learning (p2pu.org). The organization already has hosted learning experiences for hundreds of students worldwide, and its growth rate points to thousands of students engaged in the next two years. Peer 2 Peer University is well positioned to address-through experimentation and partnerships-significant questions remaining about the efficacy of online learning and its potential for inspiring deeper learning. It also receives support from other foundations interested in educational innovation and expanding opportunities for learning.
