The Partnership for Public Service produces an annual Best Places to Work in the Federal Government report, ranking employee satisfaction and commitment. In 2010, the Department of Education ranked thirty out of thirty-two. The Partnership proposes to work with the Department to improve its management environment and better prepare the next generation of executives for leadership. Using consultants and in-house coaching staff, the Partnership will assess the Department’s current landscape, identify appropriate interventions, create a "change management" strategy, and implement these programs effectively.
