Overview
We recommend a planning grant for The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center for the California Climate Action Network (CALCAN) Project. CALCAN will : a) document how the sustainable agricultural community's practices result in fewer conventional air pollution emissions (as opposed to just greenhouse gas emissions), and b) assess whether that community could be mobilized to be a force for clean air advocacy in the San Joaquin Valley and at the state level.
