for advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights in the Pacific region
This grant would support Family Planning International (the international development unit of the New Zealand Family Planning Association) to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights. The international development unit focuses on the Pacific region, but also advocates at a global level for achieving the International Conference on Population and Development Programme of Action goals and the Millennium Development Goals. Although this is a worthwhile organization, this will be the last grant to New Zealand Family Planning Association as it does not have a focus in sub-Saharan Africa.
