Overview
The Fund for Climate and Energy in India, hosted at the New Venture Fund (NVF), is a multi-funder pooled fund to advance clean energy, transport electrification, climate finance, and industrial efficiency in India. With this grant, NVF, and its technical partner, the Shakti Foundation, will focus on the following three areas: (a) supporting the achievement of India’s goal to deploy 450 gigawatts of renewable energy, (b) supporting government ambitions to advance electric mobility, and (c) providing core support for organizations that have been hard-hit by COVID-19.
