The Campaign for Our Shared Future, a fiscally sponsored project of New Venture Fund, is a nonpartisan, common-ground effort fighting for the right of every child to an inclusive and high-quality education that prepares them for success in work and life and strengthens the foundation of our multiracial democracy. Their work amplifies essential supports for K-12 students, including inclusive curriculum, social-emotional learning, and school culture measures designed to increase safety and connection. This work advances the Education Program’s goal of ensuring that schools are responsive and relevant to the lives of students by including diverse voices in classrooms. The Groundwork Collaborative, a fiscally sponsored project of New Venture Fund, is a think tank and advocacy project that starts new conversations on the economy by crafting stories about how the economy works that are accessible, intuitive, and compelling and are told through diverse spokespeople who are credible, plainspoken, and fearless. This grant supports Groundwork Collaborative’s work to grow support for the IRS to modernize its operations, build a direct tax filing option, and demonstrate that a well-funded government can play a critical role in strengthening our democracy.
