Overview
This grant would support two funds that are aimed at helping to build a stronger, more effective reproductive justice movement by strengthening grassroots organizing and policy change efforts led by and serving low-income women, women of color, and transgender people. The Catalyst Fund provides matching challenge grants to a number of small reproductive justice organizations to help increase overall resources and support from a range of donors. The Reproductive Justice Fund provides grants to several reproductive justice organizations to help expand grassroots organizing, advocacy, and infrastructure.

Grants to this Grantee
for support of The League
This grant will support The League, which uses narrative and culture change campaigns to create a cultural environment supportive of reproductive rights and justice. Using audience segmentation and other research, they identify “persuadable” groups with targeted campaigns designed to shift perspectives and support of issues related to gender justice, including reproductive rights. (Strategy: U.S. Reproductive Equity)
for the Bristol Bay Defense Fund
New Venture Fund’s Bristol Bay Defense Fund works with Alaska Native communities, fishermen and women, sportsmen and sportswomen, and others to protect Bristol Bay, Alaska, the world’s largest salmon fishery. (Substrategy: Defend Conservation Protections)
