Overview
The Clean Transportation Initiative of the New Venture Fund aims at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollutants from the transportation sector in the U.S. The next several years will provide a critical window of opportunity as decisions made by government and industry will determine the path the of the U.S. transportation sector for the next twenty years. The main results expected from this grant would be strong federal and state policies that increase efficiency and reduce emissions from freight transportation and tighter emissions standards at the federal level for new and existing vehicles.
