Grants to this Grantee
for the design, build, and distribution of a system for teacher badging (credentialing)
Digital Promise, an independent, bipartisan, nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in the 2008 Higher Education Act, was launched in September 2011 to use technology and research to spur innovation in education for learners at all levels. It proposes to design, build, and distribute a system for teacher credentialing by creating a scalable, peer-review, open platform for deeper learning credentialing. This innovation will be a test case for our efforts to find scalable models that support teacher professional development in deeper learning.
