Founded in 1996, National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum is a multi-issue community organizing and policy advocacy organization for Asian American and Pacific Islander women and girls in the U.S. This grant is one of several made to support organizations serving Asian and Pacific Islander communities, in the Bay Area and beyond, in response to the rise of violence against these communities in 2020 and 2021.

The National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum builds a stronger reproductive justice movement within the Asian and Pacific Islander community in the United States, increases the visibility of this community and its unique needs, and broadens the overall base of support for reproductive rights. The Forum's work includes community organizing and mobilization, policy advocacy, leadership development, and media and communications.
