Overview
Leading Educators works to eradicate racial disparity in access to excellent teaching across school systems. In partnership with educators, the group guides school systems to strengthen conditions for adult learning, build enduring instructional leadership, and establish effective and engaging teaching practice. With this grant, Leading Educators will create a first-of-its-kind roadmap for educators to adopt quality open educational resources that support knowledge-rich learning and adapt them to equitably meet the needs of learners across the education ecosystem. The roadmap will provide guidance and evidence to the field to support equitable decision making at the school system level. (Substrategy: Sustainable Systems)

Grants to this Grantee
for building school systems' capacity to adopt, implement, and integrate OER
Leading Educators believes that education is our greatest chance to create opportunity and disrupt racial inequity. With this grant, they will design and facilitate a network of district leaders and teachers to support the adoption and implementation of high-quality open educational resources in science. Leading Educators will document and codify effective practices from the network to create an OER playbook and guide for educators to maximize all that OER have to offer.
