Overview
KnowledgeWorks received an Investing in Innovation grant from the Department of Education to develop two STEM-focused New Tech High schools in two poverty-stricken school districts in South Carolina. KnowledgeWorks and New Tech will partner with the Riley Institute at Furman University, Evaluation Center at University of Georgia and the two school districts - Colleton County and Clarendon 1 - to improve achievement and high school graduation rates. This grant is to provide matching support to the $3.4M project.
