Overview
ISTE is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization dedicated to educational technology. ISTE will work with New America to host two convenings with state and district leaders, nonprofits, and researchers to identify, build, and sustain PreK-12 OER, and to plan for future collaboration. ISTE and New America will publish a white paper and case studies on four focus areas that illustrate pathways toward OER adoption and implementation: (a) mentoring and support structures, (b) sustainability models, (c) enabling state and district policies, and (d) impact research. This work aligns with the Education Program’s strategic goal of catalyzing wider adoption of OER.
